IN 1987, AC JOHNSTON FOUNDED A REAL ESTATE COMPANY, WHICH INITIALLY FOCUSED ON LAND DEVELOPMENT OF BOTH RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL PROPERTIES.

Since its inception, the real estate company developed 28 subdivisions that included over 2,200 residential lots and approximately 735 acres of commercial and industrial parcels.

DURING THE EARLY 1990s, THE REAL ESTATE COMPANY BEGAN DEVELOPING AND ACQUIRING INVESTMENT INCOME PROPERTIES.

The investment portfolio has included apartments, retail, industrial, and office properties. Past investment income properties that were developed or acquired included over 500 apartment units, a grocery-anchored shopping center, retail strip centers, FedEx Freight truck terminal, Fresenius Dialysis Clinic, Schnucks Grocery, warehousing, and manufacturing facilities.

THE COMPANY CONTINUES TO OWN AND MANAGE SEVERAL COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE INVESTMENTS AND CONTINUES TO SEEK OPPORTUNITIES FOR INVESTMENT IN REAL ESTATE.
